It is Made for iPod, The transmitter weights in 35 grams, its battery is for 8 hours of continuous use. You can charge it via AC adaptor or USB. The Onkyo MHP-UW2 will be released in November in Japan. no word if it will ever come state side so i may import. Only down side i see it makes the ipod kind of big, but oh well. i saw some in a movie
