I just got done rereading it. And there is no denying the novel's sheer power to draw anyone in. I mean who hasn't fantasized about casting off the chains of civilization and fleeing to a remote island? Golding's triumph is his ability to remind us, that the core of human nature is dark and inescapable. Wherever you go, there it is.

I Kill Giants

So I just got done reading "I KILL GIANT" and I must say its a must read. Originally a seven-issue miniseries, Image Comic has released a collected trade paperback of this critically acclaimed story. But I must say most of all it made me sit back and think.
