FABLES

I just started reading a series called FABLES, and I'm hooked. The series is that all the characters from the world’s fairy tales and, well, fables, have been exiled from their homelands by the Adversary and forced to live in are world. I just blown though Volume 1-5 and If I can Bum the rest I'll have to go and buy them.

Eden Of The East

So for the new season of anime I'm going to watch Eden of the East, its the only one I have found so far. It seems really funny, but I want to see where it goes.

Plot Summary: On November 22, 2010 ten missiles strike Japan. However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be called as “Careless Monday,” does not result in any apparent victims, and is soon forgotten by almost everyone. Then, 3 months later… Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, she gets into trouble, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her. However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery. He appears to have lost his memory. and he is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he’s holding with the other hand. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash.

Pirate Bay

TBP was found guilty by The Stockholm district court today. They convicted the four people charged with "promoting other people's infringement of copyright laws". The four defendants in the case, Fredrik Neij, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, Peter Sunde and Carl Lundström, were each sentenced to one year in prison and ordered to pay 30 million kronor ($3.56 million) in damages. With an expected appeal by the defendants, the case may eventually be heard by Sweden’s Supreme Court.

When it comes out I will see it. I know it wont be much better but one can hope, I know they shot more scenes with Deadpool so thats something to look forward to.

shadow of the colossus

One of the most revered cinematic games of 2005, well be turned into a movie. In the game you play as a character known as Wander, who along with his horse Agro, travels across landscape to defeat enemies known as Collosi, so that you can try and save the girl Mono. Considering that “Shadow of the Colossus” was a very solitary game with no dialogue, I would like to see what they do with it. I just hope they keep the same feel as the game for the movie and not try to make it something its not

Article One
Every man shall upload half of what he downloads, with the saints filling in the rest. It's like tossing back a tiny fish so that it may grow into a great whale...only so we can hunt said whale and feast on its blubber during a later voyage.

Article Two
TV is to be downloaded, movies are to be attended when a man returns to shore. If ye aren't a Neilsen family, what you watch doesn't matter for ratings anyway. Since advertisers pay by rating, it's a theft-less crime. Movies, on the other hand, do see profits of gold and jewels. So support independent/foreign film in the theaters, and save the action flicks with high production values and many beautiful explosions for the big screen, too. Hollywood romantic comedies? They are for plundering (in secret).

Article Three
A man shall steal as much music as he needs to quench his thirst, assuming that he supports the band by attending concerts and buying t-shirts. One should always buy the work of an indie label, however, if the music is deemed pleasant after the new moon, it's time for purchasing.

Article Four
Ye wouldn't be a pirate if ye didn't download Photoshop. But for the office, such manners are frowned upon. Make your employer pay so that others may play. And if a man spends his life building a $10 app, that man has earned his $10. Toss him a coin should you requisition his services.

Article Five
Pornography can keep a man company at sea, but always avoid that dealing with husbandry. Girlfriend sharing is OK, assuming the missus knows she's on the Bay. (We're pirates, not douchebags.)

Article Six
JK Rowling's booty is apt for plundering, but her's is a rare case indeed. If a book be in the library and tis in stock, one could make an argument to download for free. But our conscience dictates that we buy some books to keep good writers in print.

Article Seven
If at any time a man should download a virus, that man must notify the message board immediately. If at any time a man should actively upload a virus, no retributive measure shall be deemed too brutal. An arse becomes fair game for a hook.

Article Eight
After you try it, if you really like it and can afford to do so, buy it.

House M.D.

So todays House M.D. called "Simple Explanation" {Se5 Ep20} Was about Kutner taking his own life, and the mess it leaves behind. I don't think any one saw it coming on or off the show. he was a good part on the show and will be missed.

Rain Hike?

The forecast for tomorrow calls for rain and snow in the higher elevation. I would like to go to Icehouse Canyon, hikes are the best but in the rain its something special. ( This is my favorite Spider- man pic of all time. I would love to take a pic like that. )

X-Men: Origins Wolverine

I just saw it, I give it a 2/5. they changed to much, trying to get to big of a demographic. And what they did to Deadpool what a waste, the parts he was in were gold.

SO Gundam OO came to an end. it was a good run. movie next year in 2010
